Weds 30th July - Frey's birthday
Happy Birthday Frey! Wow - you're 1!!! Mummy went to work today (some big project launch) and I went into the country with Daddy to see Uncle Nick.
We walked down by the river, saw lots of boats and I fed the duckies. It was cool. This week I have been mainly rolling over both ways (I'm so pleased about that) and sleeping on my side at night. Oh, and I am also teething, but that's no fun.
Tues 29th July
I went for my splish splash lesson today and Daddy came to watch. I was very good at my underwater swimming but I was too tired to swim on my back so I cried a bit.
Sat 26th July
We had such a lovely day today. In the morning I went to visit Uncle Ian and Aunty Lesley and we played on their garden swing. Then, in the evening, we had a BBQ at Essie's house where there was Uncle Jim, Aunty Meryl, Uncle Chris as well as Nanny, Essie & Gramps. I was allowed to stay up really late too.
Weds 23rd July
Daddy came with us to meet my friends in the park for lunch today - for once the boys outnumbered the girls! We took some more photos of my friends then said hello to Uncle Glen (that's Isaac's Daddy). Then we went to Nanny's.
Mon 21st July
Wow - what a hectic day! Daddy took me into town on the train and the underground - it was cool! We met Essie, went to an art installation on the South Bank then met
Mummy. Later, Essie went to work and I went with Mummy and Daddy to meet some other friends where Mummy works and lots of

people cooed over me (I am now very good at being really cute to get as much attention as possible). It was a fun day but very tiring so I slept all the way home. |
Sat 19th July
Mummy went away today and left Daddy and I to a boys' weekend. We went out for lots of walks, played lots of games, watched lots of golf and had a fun night in. Then I went to bed and Daddy ate steak.
Tue 15th July
We took Nanny to get her plaster taken off today and at the same time went to visit Ann and Ray. They are special friends because they were responsible for introducing Mummy and Daddy years and years ago (Mummy won't let me say how many)...so I guess that makes them kinda responsible for me too!! Get Well Soon.
In the evening Uncle Chris came round with his shiny new car, I showed everyone how good I am now at bouncing and we had a lovely dinner.

Mon 14th July
I went to the European Capital of Culture (that's Liverpool) today. Daddy and Mummy say it's changed a lot. I liked it, especially when we went to the Liverpool FC shop and I got a football - yay!
Sat 12th July
I went to see Uncle Tim, Aunty Jenny, my friend William and his new baby brother, Sam. He's as little as I was when I was born. After that, we drove to see GG. She's a lot better and it was lovely to see her again.
Thu 10th July
This morning I turned 5 months' old. I got weighed the other day too and I'm now 17lb 3.5 oz. And this week I have been mainly rolling over on to my tummy and rocking back and forth when I am sitting up. Daddy thinks it makes me look a bit mental, but it's fun so I won't stop...
Wed 9th July
I had my last swimming lesson today and I'm really good now. I swam underwater on my own again...twice. I liked it and didn't cry once. Then in the afternoon I went to see my 'same-age' friends in Putney again - you can see photos of them all in my Elliott's Friends gallery.
Of my friends, Max is the oldest (he's already got two teeth!), I am the youngest, Jack's the biggest, Taylor's the littlest, Lexie's the only girl, Charlie's the most well-travelled (though I'm very jealous that Taylor's going to the Caribbean soon!) and Isaac is the noisiest! We don't see Sam often enough...

Mon 7th July
Mummy took me on a trip to the country today. I went to see her friends Mellie and Vince who were visiting from France.
They have FOUR children so I got fussed over lots by the three girls - it was great.
Sun 6th July
Wow - I had such a fun day today. I went to stay with my cousins Isabella and Alex (Mummy and Daddy went to watch fast cars in the rain). They were very kind and played with me lots and I got to go to my first ever indoor play area - and Aunty Louise even took me in the ball pool - how cool is that?! Mummy and Daddy came back later and we were all tired and went to bed early.

Wed 2nd July
Today I went swimming all by myself. Well, technically I got wooshed underwater from the teacher lady to Mummy but that means I swam a whole meter on my own!! I held my breath and closed my eyes at the right time and everything - I like swimming.
Daddy says I should get a 1 metre badge to put on my little trunks.
