My News
Hi. I'm Elliott Haydn Geoffrey Hall. Welcome to my website. You can find out all about what I've been up to by visiting here regularly.
June 2009
This month I got moved up to big school. It's where boys and girls go when they're 18 months old but apparently I'm so clever, I was allowed to go early. We've been doing
lots of running around and playing outside because the sun has been out lots.
Mummy has been away a lot visiting Nannie in somewhere called Spayn because she's not very well. So Daddy and I have been having lots of boys' nights in. We read a lot, we play a lot...and we make lots of mess. Yay!! Mummy and Daddy have bought me this stuff called 'lego'. I can build really big towers with it, then knock all the pieces over so they go under the sofa, the chair, the table...and they sometimes find themselves in the washing machine. That must be similar to how Mummy's keys always seem to end up in the watering can in the garden?
I'm running around a lot now. I like walking down our road and I love running round in the park. My favourite time was running up and down a place called 'White Hall' which is apparently a very important place (it didn't look white to me, but then at the moment, I particularly like calling everything 'lellow'). It was when we went to shout at the Prime Minister. I got my picture in the paper. I was even on the front page. I think it may have given Gramps a shock when he saw it in the paper shop!

Well, this edition was going to be my Celebrity Blog about my weekend in Benidorm with lots of famous people. But actually, I realised two things which changed my mind.
Firstly, I worried that Essie might get a bit embarrassed about it. After all, she's one of those celebrity people too. But more importantly, whilst I was in sunny Spain,
chillin' round the pool and on the set an' all that, with the amount of fuss, presents and cameras pointed at me, I realised that actually...I'm the big celebrity round here. Check out the pics of me in my cute dungees, upstaging Johnny Vegas...cool!!
So after my jet-setting weekend on the costa, I went up to see Gramps, GG, Nannie and Uncle Chris. I had a lovely weekend, especially when I went to see all the lovely people at the theatre. I had lots of fun being fussed over again. They all especially liked my squeaky shoes (Daddy thinks these should replace tap shoes and they could have done a new show called '42nd Squeak'!)
As usual, my talking and signing has come on lots this month. I don't want to show it off all at once, but I'm now doing signs for lion, cow, sheep, home, monkey and this morning I did 'butterfly'. I'm so clever and I think I'm my signing teacher's favourite pupil. And I can now say bye-byez, hello, out, up, down, keys, car, shoes, roar, moo and boggurt (the last one took Mummy and Daddy a while to work out - ha ha).
The other really exciting thing that's happened is that I've started WALKING! Wow! It's so much fun! Yes, ok, so I'm still a bit doddery on the old pins, but it's great to get around on my own. I particularly like chasing things. Mummy and Daddy took me to a farm this weekend where I saw lots of cute furry animals which I patted on the head, and I chased chickens - they run funny!
Anyway, that's it from me for this month. Check out my new pictures and come back soon...

Happy Easter!! Choklutt, choklutt, choklutt. Now I see what all the fuss is about. I got some eggs for Easter which were not like normal eggs - they were made of this brown stuff called 'choklutt' and Mummy and Daddy gave me a little taste of it - it's yummy. We went to visit Gramps, Essie and Uncle Chris. I hadn't seen them for ages so it was lots of fun. I have learnt to say 'uh-oh' which everyone thinks is really, really cute - so I say it a lot!!
This month, I've been walking...well, a little bit!!! I have done a few steps at school to show off, but I pretend I can't walk when I'm with Mummy and Daddy - it makes it easier to get them to push me around in my pram all the time. I mean, walking's probably really fun when you're good at it, but my pram's very comfy so why walk when you can hitch a ride?
I've also been impressing my teacher with my signs. I'm very good at doing 'teddy bear', 'finished', 'lights out', 'doggie', 'duck' and 'birdie'.
And watch out for my very special Celebrity Blog - coming soon...

My Mummy cut my hair last week. I think she was right to do it - look what my Daddy did to me when I shouted at the hairdryer..! |

Well, I am now 1 and a little bit, and this month's special treat was that I got to go snowy France. Mummy and Daddy took me on holiday because they wanted to do something called skiing. My teacher came too to look after me which was very exciting! I saw lots of
snowy mountains, people wearing funny space boots and lots of people spoke a language funnier than how Mummy and Daddy talk. It was lots of fun. We went up to the top
of the mountain in a cable car and I had to wear my cool dude sunglasses because it was very white! My teacher played with me lots and took me around the town to shout at people, and I got to go
out to a restaurant place and eat lots of cheesy pancake stuff with Mummy and Daddy.
This month, I've been talking and signing a lot more. I can now say 'all gone', 'ball' and 'toast' and I'm really good at doing signs for aeroplane and train (I get lots of practice where we live)!

I AM ONE!!. Well, what a difference a year makes. On the tenth day of this special month, I turned one year old. A lot has happened in that year. Or so my Mummy and Daddy tell me as I don't remember much of it if I'm really honest. I got a big balloon for my birthday, a racing car and lots of lovely presents from all our dear friends and family. I felt really really special. Oh, and I had this stuff called 'birthday cake' which was quite nice, and something really cold and yukky called 'ice cream'. Not sure I'll ever like that even though my Daddy promises that I will.
On the weekend after my birthday, we went to a lovely house in the country for Nannie's 21st-again birthday. She's bleepty-bleep years older than me which sounds like lots. I had lots of fun playing with my cousins, Nanny and Auntie Daphne, Uncle Brian and Auntie Lesley.
I am now crawling around at top speed and I'm quite proficient at standing, though I think my main problem with this walking lark is that my feet are too small to help me balance (blame my parents). I like talking lots but noone around here understands me which can be quite infuriating at times. I mean, how many ways does one have to say "I don't like wearing shoes"?

Happy New Year! Apparently, this is the end of an old year and in with a new, I feel quite cheated as I've only had 10 months of it, life is so unfair! Daddy went a long way away to work tonight so Mummy took me round to see my friend Frey.
It was Daddy's birthday today and we had big fun! We went on a big wheel and looked over London. We also saw some HUGE fishies in the aquarium.....and I got a balloon!
I have decided that as I am nearly a year old, I should now be independent of these 2 interfering people in my life. I am old enough to make my own decisions and don't need their help. I will therefore scream and fight whenever they approach me to change my nappy, put my coat on etc'. I haven't experienced what it is like to continually wear the same nappy or go outside in a vest, but it can't be that bad and at least I would have my pride!
